Yard Sale finds

Some kind of suitcase or hatbox or something, adorable!! $2 !!! I will use it to transport my poppets here and there...

A Sewing box $3 !!!

The outside was a little scuffed so i spray painted it green and put a handle on it. The inside is perfect and the cats thought so too, I'm sure they would have curled up in it if they could fit!

another project--collage

Two.
I have a big collection of collage paper clippings, photos, letters, anything that looks interesting.
Two of my best projects were a guitar collage and a shadow box:

The guitar is pictured here on display at Art All Night in Trenton, NJ. I sold this one, so exciting! The Shadow Box I made for a challenge for Somerset Studio, it was for a purple challenge anything using the colour. I made a photo slide show that I sent them on CD.
Waiting to hear back from them....

Written in Stone

I've seen a lot of artists who use this service and it seems to be great for posting pictures of their work. I have another web log account but its been used too much for everyday stuff, I want this to be focused on my art. I am into to a lot of things: the main interests I want to discuss here are my dolls, altered and recycled art, and photography.
One.
I have spent a bit of time over the past four years taking photos of gravestones in my area. I am especially interested in foot stones, those square stones with the first initial of the deceased last name. I have taken at least one of each letter, so that I have the whole alphabet, except for one or two letters. I toy with the idea of making an alphabet book of the stones, theyre small but some of them are rather intricate..
